New Instagram Feature: Private Story Likes
INTRODUCING... PRIVATE STORY LIKES!
From the Head of Instagram, it's the ability to like a story on Instagram without sending a DM every time.

What does this mean?
All story likes will be in the viewer sheet of the story (where you swipe up on your own stories) and not in a direct message thread.
So, Why is this good?
It will declutter your DMs and provide another metric you can measure to see what your audience thinks about your content or particular ideas.
FINAL THOUGHTS:
For small to medium-sized businesses, this is a great way to check in with how your audience is (literally) liking your content.
The same way we use likes to measure engagement on a feed post, we can now do this on stories. It also means that your DMs are clear from unnecessary notifications, so you can be responsive to your customers.
